Welcome, First Grade TISA Dragons! 

Here is your first grade supply list. Let’s do this!

INDIVIDUAL SUPPLIES   (PLEASE LABEL EACH ITEM)

·         1 box Faber-Castell Do Art Watercolor Pencils - Watercolor Set for Beginners ($9.99 on Amazon) ·         1 box Faber-Castell Beeswax Crayons by Faber-Castell (usually available at Twirl or at Amazon.com) - 12 or 24 ct.  ($8 on Amazon) 1 set of headphones (These will be used a lot! Please pick a pair that's comfortable and durable.) 1   3-ring binder (size: 1.5")    1  reusable plastic envelope or folder (for school-home communication) ·         1 lunch box (for lunch and field trips)  ·         1 separate snack pouch (for snack) ·         1 water bottle ·         1 full change of clothing (including undies, socks and a washcloth) ·         1 family photo  plain white T-shirt

SHARED SUPPLIES (no need to label)

·         1 ream of cardstock paper (white) 

·         1 set of thick SHARPIES (girls please bring color, boys please bring black)

·         1 box of chalk (girls please bring white, boys please bring color)

·         1 square box of Kleenex

·         1 large bottle of Elmer's white or clear glue

·         1 pack of blank index cards (plain, white or pastel colors, not spiral-bound)

·         1 box of quart-size Ziploc bags

IF YOUR FAMILY IS NEW TO TISA, please also bring the following items:

·         a photo of your child

·         your child's last report card and any other pertaining school documentation

WISH LIST: bring in old tennis balls for chair legs and start collecting items we’ll gladly recycle (wrapping paper, toilet paper/paper towel rolls, bubble wrap, paper grocery bags etc.)

WORK LIST: Cleaning futon and classroom rugs, cleaning table tops

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: for supplying drinking water (got crock and bottle)
