- good, broken-in hiking boots or shoes (no sandals please!)
- sunscreen and lip protection (please arrive with sunscreen applied)
- hat with a visor or a winter hat and gloves on cold days
- day pack
- healthy sack lunch and snacks (no lunch boxes or heavy, insulated bags)
- filled, non-leaking water bottles (2 bottles of 16 ounces or more)
- lightweight, functioning rain jacket
- warm, fleece jacket (not cotton)
- wear wool socks and plenty of layers on cold days
Please do not pack any glass items.
Please no ipods, cell phones, or video games.
